About IDD
IDD Instituto Debate y Desarrollo is a renowned organization in Lima, Peru, comprised of distinguished academics and specialists in public management. Our primary aim is to stimulate and enrich debate by conducting rigorous academic research and disseminating knowledge. We are dedicated to designing and implementing public policies that promote a diverse, inclusive, and rights-respecting Peru.
At IDD, we focus on several thematic areas, including human rights and development, business and human rights, interculturality and indigenous peoples, access to justice, and public management and policies. To achieve our goals, we offer specialized courses for students, professionals, and the general public, as well as in-house training for public institutions to strengthen competencies in human rights, interculturality, and public management. Additionally, our Project Unit identifies, generates, and executes R&D projects in collaboration with various counterparts from the public, private, and international organizations linked to our five thematic areas.
