Idents & Presentation is an online archive dedicated to the history and visual identity of television channels, with a particular focus on broadcasters in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The site documents how channels have presented themselves over time, showcasing television idents and related presentation material across a wide range of networks. Its collection spans major broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, STV and RTÉ, alongside pay-TV, entertainment, factual, children’s, sports and religious channels.

Visitors can browse material by channel and year, with entries covering regular idents, special presentations and seasonal campaigns, including Christmas and Halloween content. The archive also preserves examples from defunct channels, providing a record of television branding that might otherwise be difficult to find. Alongside its channel collections, the site offers updates, information about its team, links and a contents section to help visitors explore the material. Idents & Presentation serves enthusiasts, researchers and anyone interested in television design, broadcasting history and the changing ways channels have shaped their on-screen identities.
