About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors throughout Indonesia. Affiliated with the Indonesian Ministry of Health, it works to strengthen medical ethics, collegiality, professional independence, and cooperation among doctors, while supporting a healthier and more dignified society. IDI’s network spans 33 regions and 242 branches, serving more than 32,000 members.
The organization provides professional and educational resources, including medical journals, scientific activities, workshops, and training opportunities. Its website shares information about medical competency examinations, continuing medical education, and programs such as training for educators and school-based first-aid initiatives. Publications include the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal.
