About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is Indonesia’s professional organization for physicians, bringing together doctors across the country and working in affiliation with the Ministry of Health. Its mission is to strengthen medical ethics, collegiality, and professional solidarity while contributing to a healthy and dignified society. IDI’s vision is an Indonesian medical profession that is ethical, independent, and professional.
The organization has a national leadership structure and a network spanning 33 regions and 242 branches, serving 32,220 members. Through its website, IDI shares organizational information, regional access details, news, and event announcements. Its activities include professional education and scientific events, such as continuing medical education, training, workshops, and competency examination information. IDI also supports medical publishing, featuring the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal.
Under its “IDI Reborn” initiative, the organization expresses a commitment to becoming more independent, modern, accountable, collaborative, and responsive.
