The Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, or IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. It works to foster ethical, independent, and professional medical practice while strengthening collegiality among physicians. IDI also expresses a broader public-health commitment: helping create a healthy and dignified society. The association is connected with the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Health.
With a network spanning 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, IDI provides members with access to organizational services and professional activities throughout the country.
