About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, or IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. It works to strengthen medical ethics, collegiality, and professional independence, while supporting the goal of a healthy and dignified society. IDI operates through a nationwide network of 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, serving more than 32,000 members.
The association’s website provides information about its leadership, organizational structure, regional branches, activities, and professional development. Its programs include continuing medical education, scientific events, competency examination information, training workshops, and initiatives such as the Anak Siaga Tanggap Rawat Luka school program. IDI also shares medical and organizational news and publishes professional resources, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal.
