About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is Indonesia’s professional organization for doctors, bringing together members across the country and working in affiliation with the Ministry of Health. Its vision is to foster ethical, independent, and professional doctors who uphold collegiality. IDI also seeks to strengthen medical ethics and cooperation among doctors and contribute to a healthy, dignified society.
With a network spanning 33 regions and 242 branches, IDI provides an organizational home for doctors throughout Indonesia. Its activities include professional education, scientific events, training, and information about the Indonesian Doctor Competency Examination. The organization publishes medical journals, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Journal of Medical Ethics, and offers resources such as article-writing workshops. Its programs also include initiatives in community health and injury-response education.
