About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is Indonesia’s professional organization for doctors, bringing together members across the country and working in affiliation with the Ministry of Health. Its stated vision is to foster doctors who are ethical, independent and professional, while upholding collegiality. IDI also aims to strengthen professional ethics and cooperation among doctors and contribute to a healthy, dignified society.
With a network spanning 33 regions and 242 branches, IDI reports more than 32,000 members. The organization supports professional learning through scientific activities, training, workshops and continuing medical education partnerships. Its website also provides information about the Indonesian Doctor Competency Examination and publishes medical journals, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Journal of Medical Ethics.
