About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association, known as Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. Affiliated with the Ministry of Health, it works to foster an ethical, independent, and professional medical community while promoting collegiality among doctors and contributing to a healthy, dignified society. IDI has a nationwide network of 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, with 32,220 members reported on its website.
The organization supports its members and the wider medical community through professional education, scientific activities, competency information, and medical publications. Its website features continuing medical education resources, training and workshops, updates on the Indonesian Doctor Competency Examination, and journals including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Journal of Indonesian Medical Ethics.
