About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association, known as Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), is the professional organization representing doctors throughout Indonesia. Its stated vision is to foster doctors who are ethical, independent, and professional, while upholding collegiality. IDI also aims to strengthen medical ethics and fellowship among doctors and contribute to a healthy, dignified society.
The organization operates through 33 regional bodies and 242 branches, serving a reported membership of 32,220 doctors. Its website provides information about the association’s leadership, structure, regional network, and activities. IDI supports professional learning and development through scientific events, training, workshops, and Continuing Medical Education partnerships.
It also shares medical publications, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal, and provides information about the Indonesian Medical Doctor Competency Examination.
