The Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, or IDI) is a professional organization that represents doctors throughout Indonesia and is affiliated with the government through the Ministry of Health. Its stated vision is to foster ethical, independent, and professional doctors who uphold collegiality. IDI works to strengthen medical ethics and professional relationships while supporting a healthy and dignified society.

With a network spanning 33 regions and 242 branches, IDI serves a reported membership of 32,220 doctors. Its activities include professional education, scientific events, competency-related information, and continuing medical education partnerships. The organization also provides access to medical publications, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Journal of Medical Ethics, alongside training and writing workshops.
