About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association, known as Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), is the professional organization that represents and supports doctors across Indonesia. The association’s stated vision is to foster Indonesian doctors who are ethical, independent, professional, and committed to collegiality. Its mission includes strengthening medical ethics and professional solidarity while contributing to a healthy and dignified society.
IDI has a nationwide network, with 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, serving 32,220 members according to the website’s published statistics. The organization provides information and activities for the medical community, including professional education, scientific events, training, and details about the Indonesian Doctor Competency Examination.
