Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is Indonesia’s professional organization for doctors, bringing together physicians nationwide and supporting the development of the medical profession. Its stated vision is to foster Indonesian doctors who are ethical, independent, professional, and committed to collegiality. IDI’s mission includes strengthening medical ethics and professional solidarity while contributing to a healthy and dignified society.

The organization has a national leadership structure and a network spanning 33 regional offices and 242 branches, serving more than 32,000 members. Through its website and organizational activities, IDI provides information on professional programs, regional access, events, and medical education. Its offerings include continuing medical education, training, workshops, competency examination information, and initiatives such as the School Program Anak Siaga Tanggap Rawat Luka. IDI also publishes professional and scholarly resources, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Journal of Indonesian Medical Ethics, and shares health information and organizational news.
