Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is Indonesia’s professional organization for physicians, bringing doctors together through a national network of regional and local branches. Affiliated with the government through the Ministry of Health, IDI promotes ethical, independent, and professional medical practice, while encouraging collegiality among its members and contributing to a healthy, dignified society. The organization reports a presence in 33 regions and 242 branches, serving 32,220 members.

IDI supports the medical profession through educational and professional development activities, including training, workshops, scientific events, and continuing medical education partnerships. It also shares information on doctor competency examinations and publishes medical journals, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Journal of Indonesian Medical Ethics.
