About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association, known as Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. Affiliated with the Ministry of Health, IDI aims to foster ethical, independent, and professional medical practice while strengthening collegiality among physicians and supporting a healthy, dignified society. Its network spans 33 regions and 242 branches, serving more than 32,000 members.
IDI’s work includes professional education, scientific activities, and resources for the medical community. Its programs include medical writing workshops, training initiatives, competency-related information, and Continuing Medical Education partnerships. The association also publishes medical journals, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Journal of Indonesian Medical Ethics.
