About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors throughout Indonesia, with a network spanning 33 regions and 242 branches. Its mission is to strengthen medical ethics, collegiality, and professional solidarity while contributing to a healthy and dignified society. IDI promotes doctors who are ethical, independent, and professional, and is affiliated with the government through Indonesia’s Ministry of Health.
The organization supports its members and the wider medical community through educational resources, scientific activities, professional development, and access to information across its regional network. Its offerings include medical journals, such as the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal, as well as workshops and training, including instruction in systematic article writing.
