About PB IDI
The Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, or IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. It aims to foster an ethical, independent, and professional medical community while strengthening collegiality among physicians and contributing to a healthy, dignified society. IDI operates through a network of 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, serving a reported membership of 32,220 doctors.
The association supports professional development and medical knowledge through educational programs, scientific activities, workshops, and continuing medical education partnerships. Its website shares information about medical competency examinations, training initiatives, organizational events, and publications, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Journal of Indonesian Medical Ethics. IDI also publishes updates and educational content on health topics, medical history, and professional issues.
