About PB IDI
Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) is the professional organization that represents and supports doctors across Indonesia. Affiliated with the Ministry of Health, it works to strengthen medical ethics, collegiality, and professional independence while contributing to a healthy and dignified society. Its vision is to foster Indonesian doctors who are ethical, independent, professional, and committed to their peers.
IDI serves a nationwide membership through 33 regional organizations and 242 branches. Its website provides information about the organization’s leadership, structure, regional network, and activities, alongside updates and resources for the medical community. These include notices about the Indonesian Doctor Competency Examination, scientific events, training opportunities, and Continuing Medical Education partnerships. IDI also features medical publications, including the Journal of the Indonesian Medical Association and the Indonesian Medical Ethics Journal, as well as workshops and other professional learning initiatives.
Through its “IDI Reborn” renewal agenda, the organization emphasizes becoming more independent, modern, accountable, collaborative, and effective. Its work brings doctors together around shared professional standards, ongoing education, and contributions to public health in Indonesia.
