About IEEE Computer Society IUB Student Branch Chapter
The IEEE Computer Society IUB Student Branch Chapter is a proud and recognized chapter, operating under the umbrella of the IEEE Bangladesh Section. Since its establishment on November 15, 2018, our branch has been committed to promoting excellence in the field of computer science and information technology. We offer a range of workshops, such as programming and application development, to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Our co-curricular aid and projects provide opportunities for hands-on learning and practical application. Additionally, we organize seminars featuring prominent personalities and professionals from the ICT sector, providing insights into current mainstream applications and technologies. As part of the global IEEE Computer Society, we provide support through CS newsletters, access to the IEEE Digital Library, magazines, journals, conference proceedings, and a video library.
Our chapter is an integral part of the School of Engineering, Technology & Sciences at IUB, with a dedicated Department of Computer Science.
