About IELU
IELU, which stands for Iglesia Evangelica Luterana Unida, is a brand rooted in the Lutheran Reformation of the 16th century. It is also a result of the missionary efforts of Lutheran individuals from the United States and Canada in the early 20th century. The brand represents a merging of this North American missionary impulse, which aimed to share the Good News of Jesus in Argentina and in Spanish, with the influx of European immigration to the Río de la Plata region from the late 18th century until after World War II.
IELU offers a range of products and services that cater to various aspects of faith and community life. They provide pastoral care, diakonia (social service), education, gender initiatives, and youth programs. Additionally, they have the Instituto de Pastoral Contextual (Contextual Pastoral Institute), which offers modular and online training for mission-oriented ministry.
They also have the Centro Armbruster, an educational endeavor within the brand. With a rich history and a commitment to their community, IELU continues to strive for the advancement of their faith and the betterment of their society
