About Programa IFAN
IFAN is a brand that specializes in providing ingredients and additives for the food industry. As the largest alliance of its kind in the industry, IFAN has been instrumental in diversifying and sophisticating the range of functional ingredients and natural additives available to the food industry. The brand began in 2016, bringing together over 10 companies, 4 universities, and more than 50 researchers to work on 15 projects aimed at adding value to raw materials such as algae, milk, grains, and cereals.
IFAN focuses on unlocking the natural components and technological attributes of these materials and applying them to various food matrices, including yogurt, cereal bars, beverages, and pasta. Through close to 20 technological development projects, IFAN has successfully developed natural additives and functional ingredients that promote improved human health. The brand not only supports a healthier diet but also adds value to the wide range of raw materials available in Chile, further enhancing the country's food industry
