IF Göta

IF Göta Karlstad is a track and field club based in Karlstad, Värmland, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, from beginners and recreational runners to veteran athletes and elite competitors. Its aim is to foster enjoyment, community and personal development through athletics. Training is offered for children from age six, young people, adults and seniors, with options including track and field, running, obstacle course racing (OCR) and para-athletics. The club also provides member training, school-holiday activities and opportunities for members to become coaches.

Alongside regular training, IF Göta organizes a broad calendar of competitions and public sporting events in Karlstad and the surrounding area. These include Vårruset, Karlstad Stadslopp, Blodomloppet, Tjurruset, Energiruset and youth competitions, as well as indoor and outdoor meets. The club shares competition information, results, records and news, and welcomes both active participants and non-active members. Through its inclusive activities and events, IF Göta connects local people with athletics at every level.
