IFIAR, the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators, is an organization established in 2006. It brings together independent audit regulators from 54 jurisdictions representing various regions around the world. The mission of IFIAR is to enhance audit oversight globally and serve the public interest, including investors.

The organization works towards its mission through a range of activities, including the publication of informative materials. They also conduct an annual Inspection Findings Survey to measure audit quality trends and promote global audit quality. The survey's results are made public every year.

IFIAR has a dedicated team of member volunteers who participate in working groups, task forces, and outreach teams. These groups focus on practical outcomes related to audit quality, such as engagement with global audit networks, inspections, enforcement, international cooperation, investors, other stakeholders, and standard setting.
