About IFIF
The International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) represents the global feed industry, playing a crucial role in the food chain by providing sustainable, safe, nutritious, and affordable food for the growing world population. With its members representing over 80% of the compound animal feed production worldwide, IFIF is made up of national and regional feed associations from Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, as well as feed-related organizations and corporate members from around the globe. Founded in 1987, IFIF is a non-profit organization that strives to ensure high standards of health and welfare for animals and people by collaborating with international bodies such as the FAO, WOAH, and the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
IFIF aims to set international regulatory standards for the feed chain and support fair trade. Additionally, IFIF works with various partners to measure, benchmark, and improve the sustainability of the livestock production chain. Their vision is to promote science-based solutions and information sharing to ensure the supply of safe and affordable animal proteins for consumers worldwide
