IFJordan is the cultural operator of the French Embassy in Jordan and has been serving as a vibrant hub of French culture in Amman since 1963. Situated in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the capital, Jabal Webdeh, the institute has become an integral part of the local cultural landscape. With its fourteen classrooms, exhibition room, and cafeteria-media library, IFJordan offers a range of services and activities.

These include French and Arabic courses for both groups and individuals, as well as exams and diplomas in French. The media library, the only public francophone library in the kingdom, boasts a collection of over 12,000 publications in French, including books, CDs, DVDs, comics, and magazines. Moreover, IFJordan organizes an array of cultural events throughout the year, including concerts, dance performances, plays, cinema festivals, gastronomy weeks, conferences, and exhibitions.

Additionally, it provides support for local Jordanian cultural actors and assists individuals in pursuing studies or finding work in France through its French language classes. Campus France Jordan, a part of IFJordan, offers guidance and assistance to students interested in pursuing higher education in France. Whether it's for cultural enrichment, language learning, or educational opportunities, IFJordan provides a warm and welcoming environment for individuals from different backgrounds, attracting students from over 30 nationalities
