About If We Build It
If We Build It is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the development of baseball and softball fields in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in Nairobi, Kenya. By creating the infrastructure for these sports to grow, the organization aims to level the playing field for young men and women to pursue their baseball and softball dreams. Their mission is to provide access to sports and sports education, level the playing field for players and teams, and grow the game by establishing fields as hubs for training and competition.
The organization is supported by a team of key individuals, including founding board members Gary Perone, Kevin Schreiber, Thom Wallace, and Ben Pinczewski. Through collaborative efforts with the Kenyan baseball community and experienced volunteers, If We Build It strives to make a positive impact on the local and international baseball and softball community.
