IG Tauchen Donauwörth is a community of diving enthusiasts who share a passion for exploring the underwater world. Founded on 12 May 1998, the group has been a registered association since 2020 and is closely connected with Sport Schneller, a sporting goods shop in Donauwörth, whose local facilities it uses.
The association welcomes people interested in learning to dive, developing their skills, or finding companions for underwater adventures. It offers internationally recognised Scuba Educators International courses, ranging from beginner training to advanced, specialist, and professional-level instruction. Members can also take part in group dives, night dives, weekend excursions, and longer trips in Germany and abroad.
Beyond diving activities, IG Tauchen Donauwörth encourages members to connect and share their experience. Regular social gatherings provide opportunities to exchange information, meet fellow divers, and get to know the community. Friends and family are also welcome to become part of its shared activities. The association’s aim is to introduce more people to diving and create opportunities to discover the underwater world together.
