I Gatti della Tiburtina

I Gatti della Tiburtina – L’Oasi dei mici di Roma ODV is a volunteer-run animal welfare association founded in 2017 by president Nadia Diodato and vice president Barbara Cambareri. Based in Rome, the organization aims to provide a safe, spacious and peaceful refuge for cats in need. Its cats have been rescued from the streets, often while sick, injured or mistreated, and are unable to return to life outdoors.

The association helps cats find permanent homes through carefully assessed adoptions, emphasizing responsible, informed decisions by prospective families. Supporters can also adopt a cat at a distance, helping fund its care while supporting the rescue of another cat. Other ways to contribute include making donations, taking part in fundraising events and supporting the organization’s activities.

Registered in the regional register of volunteer organizations and eligible to receive Italy’s 5×1000 tax designation, the association funds its work through events, donations and community support. Its volunteers share a commitment to animal wellbeing, transparency and compassionate care.
