The Emmanuel Igbinovia Foundation (EIF) is a nonprofit organisation headquartered in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. It works to expand access to quality education and information for children, young people and women in underserved and last-mile communities, using technology, innovation and community partnerships. Its mission responds to educational and digital-access inequalities, particularly affecting rural communities in Nigeria. Over the next decade, EIF aims to develop alternative and informal learning pathways and employment opportunities for one million out-of-school children, unskilled young people, vulnerable women and adolescent girls.
EIF’s programs combine practical learning, mentorship and guidance. The Digital Skills Accelerator for Women and Girls helps participants build digital and financial skills, confidence and access to technology. Freedom Skills provides life-skills education and support to help young people recognise exploitation and make informed choices. Lead the Future offers career workshops, human rights education and mentorship, with a focus on leadership, resilience and safer futures, especially for girls. The foundation’s listed initiatives also include a Virtual Assistant Program and CSR partnerships.
