iGEM IONIS 2022

The team takes part in the international iGEM competition, where students develop and present projects in synthetic biology. Its work includes research and laboratory proof-of-concept activities, alongside public engagement, education, and human practices.

The team’s projects have included Cinergy, featured in 2019, and BacTail, developed for the 2020 competition. The site shares project updates, team information, competition news, and details about fundraising and sponsorship. It also highlights partnerships and support from organizations, including GenoScreen and Labbox, and reports on outreach such as presentations about synthetic biology in high schools and the organization of an iGEM meetup in Paris. Through these activities, iGEM IONIS connects student research with education, collaboration, and public communication. The team also invites supporters to contribute to its fundraising efforts, which help enable the laboratory work needed to demonstrate project concepts.
