IGERIBILI

IGERIBILI is a community association based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, offering aquatic and outdoor activities in the bay and along the local coastline. Founded in 2018, its name means “to swim and walk” in Basque. The association is led by Chantal Rochefort, a state-qualified instructor with more than 20 years of experience, and emphasizes wellbeing, supportive coaching and team spirit. Its sessions are designed to help participants enjoy the benefits of water and outdoor exercise, with guidance and exercises adapted to individual needs.

Activities include aquatic walking, mini-fin swimming and aqua-footing in the bay, where participants use suitable equipment such as boards, leashes or flotation belts. Aqua-training combines exercises in the water and on the sand. For land-based activity, IGERIBILI offers Nordic walking on the coastal path or beach, with instruction in technique and routes that vary by season. The association publishes a schedule of sessions across the week and welcomes enquiries by phone or email. Its activities take place in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, at the heart of the coastal environment.
