About Igfem
Welcome to ≠igfem, the Interessensgemeinschaft feministische Autorinnen (Association of Feminist Authors). We are a collective of passionate and socially conscious authors dedicated to fostering a feminist agenda in literature, politics, and society. Through our various projects and initiatives, we strive to create a platform that amplifies the voices of women and promotes gender equality.
Within our network, you will find a diverse range of activities, including online writing groups, feminist reading circles, and workshops exploring feminist theory and communication strategies. We also curate a feminist reading list and engage in projects addressing pressing issues such as the #MeToo movement and combating femicide. Additionally, we organize and participate in literary events and festivals, hosting readings by feminist authors and providing a space for dialogue and connection.
