IGNITE Broward

IGNITE Broward is Broward County’s festival of immersive art, light, and creative innovation, bringing together internationally acclaimed creators, emerging artists, and curious audiences. Founded as a showcase for the meeting of art, technology, and community, the festival presents large-scale installations and experiences across cultural and public spaces. Its work has included interactive installations, outdoor sculptures, immersive projections, experimental media, and sound-based art, with past projects hosted at venues such as MAD Arts, Hollywood ArtsPark, Esplanade Park, and the Museum of Discovery and Science.

IGNITE also creates opportunities for artists and creative partners to contribute to a shared public experience, with applications for its 2027 edition now closed. The festival is supported by the Broward County Cultural Division, which invests in the region’s arts and cultural sector through grants, public art programs, community engagement, and creative-economy initiatives. MAD Arts, a museum, community hub, and art-and-technology laboratory founded in 2020, is another key partner, presenting work shaped by artificial intelligence, immersive media, and experimental innovation
