Ignite Karting

Ignite Karting is a spec kart racing program designed to make competitive karting accessible while keeping the focus on driver development. Its “fast, fun, fair” approach gives new racers, established drivers, clubs, and track owners a structured way to get involved and grow participation. The program centers on a standardized package featuring a sealed Briggs 206 engine, Hoosier R80 tires, and a Margay Ignite K3 chassis, with additional kart options including the Ignite K2 and K3/100.

Ignite organizes races at local tracks and major motorsport venues, with events and series such as the Ignite Majors, Ignite Dash at Daytona, Quincy Grand Prix, Ignite Challenge, and Ignite Road Racing Challenge. Its listed venues include Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Daytona International Speedway, World Wide Technology Raceway, and Ozarks International Raceway. Racers can find local tracks and dealers, sign up online, and explore arrive-and-drive opportunities. Ignite also provides rulebooks, kart setup guides, technical resources, and an online shop, supporting participants from their first steps in karting through organized competition and further racing development.
