I Got Your Back Pack NZ | Silverdale is a non-profit initiative and registered New Zealand charity that was established in 2016 to support Women's Refuge, Shine, and Shakti safehouses, as well as other independent shelters on a case-by-case basis. They believe in the power of thoughtful touches to make a difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence who have left their homes and are starting anew. By providing emergency care packs filled with practical and essential items, they aim to offer hope, encouragement, and care to those in need.

These packs, designed for women, children, men, and even babies, contain toiletries, treats, and comforting distractions to ease the distress of families in crisis. I Got Your Back Pack recognizes that even the smallest tokens can have a significant impact during times of upheaval. They operate with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers based in Silverdale who ensure that every pack is filled with consideration and care.
