About Internet Governance Institute
The Internet Governance Institute (IGI) is an initiative dedicated to strengthening Internet Governance at the grassroots level. They achieve this through research, capacity building, awareness campaigns, debates, and policy interventions across the Asia Pacific region. The IGI operates based on collaboration and actively involves various IG-related institutions.
The main objective of the IGI is to empower grassroots stakeholders by conducting research, providing capacity building programs, generating awareness, facilitating debates, and implementing policy interventions. Their major goals include conducting research and development on internet governance issues, offering online and offline courses on internet governance, organizing lectures, symposia, and international meetings on the subject, promoting the exchange of researchers and students working in this domain, and advocating for internet governance-related issues. Additionally, the IGI designs, develops, distributes, and sells digital and non-digital content related to internet governance.
The IGI is committed to fostering collaboration and promoting a holistic approach to internet governance to ensure a fair and inclusive digital landscape. Contact them to learn more about their initiatives and get involved
