The Internationale Gangpferdevereinigung (IGV e.V.) is a European organization representing gaited horse breeds and the people who ride, breed, and support them. Founded in 1988, it aims to preserve the cultural heritage of gaited horses, promote knowledge of the different breeds, and make gaited riding better known in Germany. Its community includes breed associations, gaited-horse clubs, and individual members, united by an interest in comfortable, rideable horses and activities ranging from leisure and long-distance riding to competitive sport and shows.

The IGV supports and advises members on matters relating to gaited horses. Its website provides information about breeds including Icelandic Horses, Aegidienbergers, Paso Finos, Tennessee Walking Horses, and Missouri Fox Trotters. It also offers resources on training and qualifications, including trainer listings, educational guidance, and an Ausbildung blog. For sport, the association publishes rules, supports judges, and provides online competition registration and a database. Breeders and buyers can use directories of breeding farms and stallions, as well as listings for horses for sale.
