About India Hydrogen Alliance
India Hydrogen Alliance (IH2A) is an industry-led coalition dedicated to supporting India's energy transition and achieving a net-zero carbon pathway. Working together with policymakers, industry players, and experts in the energy sector, IH2A aims to create a national 'Bharat H2' roadmap and implementation plan. This plan will align with India's renewable and electric vehicle plans.
IH2A focuses on developing the hydrogen economy and a domestic hydrogen supply chain in India. IH2A offers a range of products and services through its workgroups. These workgroups include hydrogen production and electrolyser/fuel-cell manufacturing, hydrogen storage and transport, hydrogen at scale (hydrogen valleys, funding, and policy design), green steel and cement (industrial use case), green ammonia use case (refineries and fertilizers), and heavy-duty transport use case (railways, trucking, and shipping).
IH2A operates as a member-driven coalition, led by a steering group and workgroup leads. Membership is open to all parties, and each member must adhere to the IH2A governance charter. With a diverse network of experts and decisive actions, IH2A is actively driving the growth of the hydrogen industry in India
