About IHME Helsinki
IHME Helsinki is a contemporary art commissioning organization that brings together art, science, and climate work. They annually produce a public artwork and event series that create hope by merging art, science, and climate work. IHME Helsinki's core focus is their yearly commissioned artwork.
These IHME Helsinki artworks are realized in public spaces in Finland and abroad, in collaboration with artists and domestic and international partners. The IHME Helsinki 2023 commissioned artwork is called Chicago Boys – While We Were Singing, They Were Dreaming, initiated by Kurdish artist and musician Hiwa K in 2010. IHME Helsinki invites you to explore the intersection of art and science, offering insights into the environmental crisis.
