Indre Haugaland Ryttersportklubb

Indre Haugaland Ryttersportklubb is an equestrian club serving riders across the Haugaland region of Norway. Formed in 2016 through the merger of Hegren Rideklubb, Spanne Rideklubb, and Etne og Vindafjord Rideklubb, it brings together approximately 250 members from ten neighboring municipalities. The club’s main facility is in Tysvær, where it leases a privately owned site. In partnership with Faxi Islandshestforening, it has also helped build Haugaland Hestesport Arena.

The club offers activities and services throughout the year, welcoming participants with a range of interests and needs. Its programs include a riding school, stable activities, therapeutic and adaptive riding, and other adapted horse-related activities. It also provides an alternative school program and specialized courses in dressage, show jumping, eventing, and endurance riding. The club shares information about its instructors, board, documents, news, and events online, and invites people to join. Its broad offering supports equestrian participation, training, and inclusive activities for its regional community.
