About Indian Institute of Creative Technologies
The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) is a pioneering institution dedicated to nurturing talent in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sectors. Established as a Section 8 company, IICT operates with support from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, FICCI, and CII, showcasing a strong commitment to innovation and skill development in India. Currently based at the NFDC premises in Mumbai, IICT is set to expand to a 10-acre campus in Filmcity, Goregaon, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced animation and gaming labs, edit and sound studios, and a virtual production studio.
IICT offers a diverse range of courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate diplomas in Animation Film Design, Visual Effects, and Advanced Video Gaming Skills. Furthermore, it provides various skill-building programs and short-term certificates to enhance industry readiness. With a focus on academic partnerships and entrepreneurship, IICT aims to strengthen the AVGC ecosystem in India and foster innovation through incubation centers and technology roadmaps.
