Institute for Integrated Hydro-Environment Research (IIHR) is a non-profit research for development organization established in 2021. We aim to stimulate generation of knowledge and its application to solve critical problems in the vast field of water resources. Our research activities follow a holistic and integrated approach to expand understanding of regional and global issues. We specialise in areas ranging from fluvial hydraulics to water resources development and management, through to eco-hydraulics, hydro-informatics and water induced disasters.

About Institute for Integrated Hydro Environment Research
IIHR (Institute for Integrated Hydro-Environment Research) is a non-profit research-for-development organization based in Nepal. With a mission to tackle critical issues in the water resources and environment field, IIHR aims to generate knowledge and apply it effectively. Their expert team follows a holistic and integrated approach in their research activities, covering areas such as fluvial hydraulics, sustainable water resources development and management, eco-hydraulics, hydro-informatics, and the impact of climate change on water-induced disasters.
IIHR's expertise in these areas allows them to provide training and capacity building programs, engage in international collaborations, and undertake various projects.
