Irish Institutional Property

Irish Institutional Property (IIP) is a representative organisation for institutionally financed investors with significant international backing in Ireland’s real estate market. Its members, financed mainly by pension funds, invest in and manage property across the country, supporting the development of cities, towns and neighbourhoods. Together, they manage approximately €18 billion in Irish property and contribute to employment and economic activity: members directly employ more than 6,000 people, indirectly support a further 23,000 jobs, and provide premises for tenant companies employing over 36,000 people. Four of the 20 largest companies listed on Euronext Dublin are IIP members.

IIP’s mission is to promote a sustainable, world-class Irish real estate sector that benefits investors, the economy, communities and wider society. It fosters communication among members and stakeholders, shares industry insight, engages with government and policymakers, and advocates for a stable, well-functioning property market. The organisation also promotes Ireland as a destination for institutional investment and supports improvements to the built environment and the professionalisation of the sector.
