IIT Nigeria, also known as the Institute for Industrial Technology, is a social project dedicated to addressing unemployment among urban male youths from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Lagos and its environs. This innovative institution offers high-quality technical vocational training and in-company training opportunities through its dual vocational training system. With a strong focus on values-based education, IIT aims to develop the whole person, providing scholarships to make their programs accessible to low-income families.

Thanks to the support of generous partners and supporters, IIT is able to provide retraining and skills upgrading programs for industry employees, ensuring the relevance of their offerings to industry needs. Established in 2000 by the African Development Foundation, IIT operates as a private vocational institution since 2006, supported by the Lagos Business School (LBS) and inspired by the vision of St. Josemaria Escriva, the Founder of Opus Dei.

With a commitment to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become competent technicians, IIT is paving the way for a brighter economic future for its students and the community as a whole
