The Idaho Jazz Education Endowment is an Idaho-incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting, educating people about, and preserving jazz. Its work brings together support for aspiring musicians and opportunities for communities to experience live jazz. The organization’s primary mission is to provide college and undergraduate scholarships to young jazz musicians, helping support their education and development. It also sponsors concerts and other events around Idaho to promote live jazz and connect audiences with the music.
The Endowment shares information about upcoming events through its website and social media, and its site highlights scholarship opportunities, local jazz connections, business sponsors, and updates on former scholarship recipients. Donations fund the organization’s operations, and supporters can contribute by credit or debit card, PayPal, Venmo, or check.
