IJsclub Zederik

IJsclub Zederik is a community ice-skating club that brings local residents together to enjoy skating when winter conditions allow. Its main activity is operating a natural ice rink, with updates on ice thickness, opening times and weather shared through its website and Facebook page. When the ice is safe, visitors are welcomed to skate, and the club provides information about practical arrangements such as parking.

Membership can be arranged at the clubhouse, and the club holds an annual members’ meeting where members discuss club matters and board appointments. Volunteers and board members play an important role in keeping the association running, supporting rink operations and organising activities. The club also hosts social gatherings, including a traditional New Year reception, and has held raffles at its members’ meeting.

IJsclub Zederik participates in Rabobank ClubSupport, receiving contributions from community votes to support its work. Through its seasonal rink, local updates and member involvement, the club helps sustain a shared tradition of outdoor skating and community life in Zederik
