Ijsvereniging Leek

IJsvereniging Leek is a skating association founded on December 5, 1871, serving the community of Leek in the Netherlands. The association manages the natural ice rink on the grounds of Landgoed Nienoord, where visitors can skate when conditions permit. It also organizes the Leekstermeer skating tour and is a bearer of the Leekster Tak heritage tradition.

The association shares information about the rink, including its history, opening hours, tariffs and house rules, and provides current updates through its website and social media. Members can attend discounted skating sessions at Sportcentrum Kardinge in Groningen; skate rental may be available there. The activities calendar also features member meetings and skating events for children.
