IJVP

IJsvereniging Pijnacker (IJVP) is a local skating association serving young people and adults in Pijnacker. The club brings together recreational skaters, developing athletes and competitive speed skaters, with activities ranging from skating lessons and training to races and club events. Its programmes include youth skating, long-track speed skating, marathon skating and G-skating, alongside information and support for members and their families. Training and competitions take place at De Uithof, and the association also shares information about its natural-ice rink and other activities, including Run-Bike-Run events.

IJVP supports members through practical club services such as membership administration, club clothing, skate sharpening and guidance on buying skates. The association publishes news, competition results and updates for its youth and skating communities, and has a technical committee connected with its long-track programme. Its club building, the Tinteltent, serves as a central meeting place and has recently been renovated to improve its usable space and sustainability.
