IKC Ontdekking

IKC Ontdekking is an IRIS Christian child centre in Kampen, the Netherlands, bringing childcare and primary education together in one place. It supports children from ages two to thirteen, providing a consistent environment shaped by shared values, expectations and collaboration among teachers, pedagogical professionals and other specialists.

The centre offers preschool childcare, out-of-school care (BSO) and primary education. Its childcare programme combines play and development in a homelike atmosphere, while its education offers a stimulating learning programme that recognises each child’s individuality. Through these experiences, children are encouraged to explore the world around them, grow in confidence and develop their curiosity.

IKC Ontdekking aims to provide a safe and welcoming place where children can learn, develop and express their feelings. The centre works in partnership with parents and can involve other professionals when needed. Its Christian outlook encourages children to place trust in God, those around them and themselves. Located on Ooievaarstraat in Kampen, IKC Ontdekking offers families the convenience of care and schooling under one roof.
