Ikigai Dojo

Ikigai Dojo is a Kyokushin karate school and association based in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. Its name reflects the Japanese idea of ikigai, a reason for being, and its approach brings that sense of purpose into martial arts training. The dojo aims to create a close-knit community where discipline and mutual support go hand in hand, while giving every student room to develop at their own pace and ability.

Ikigai Dojo offers Kyokushin karate lessons for people interested in learning the sport and challenging themselves. Training is intended to support development both in karate and on a personal level, with individual attention for students. Visitors who want to discover what the classes involve can attend three free trial lessons before deciding whether to join. The school also shares information about its association, schedule, instructors and activities, along with photographs of lessons and students. Located on Steeneikzoom in Zoetermeer, Ikigai Dojo welcomes prospective students to get in touch by phone or email to learn more or arrange a trial.
